Thailand’s Travel Restrictions

Thailand welcomes everyone, regardless of vaccination status. To enter, you’ll need to apply for a Thailand Pass. To do so, you’ll need to submit the following documents:

• Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test
• Valid health insurance of at least 10,000 USD that covers Covid-19 medical services
• A copy of your passport
• Your flight details
• Your booking confirmation

Applying for the Thailand Pass is free of charge. After registration, you’ll be provided with a unique QR code.

It takes just a few hours to get your Thailand Pass QR code, and sometimes even minutes. Airlines are required to check it before your boarding, so keep it handy.

Besides, if your travel dates change after you get your Thailand Pass QR Code, you can still use it as long as your arrival is within 7 days before or after the original date indicated in the Pass. If that’s the case, you will not need to modify anything or reapply for it.

Fully Vaccinated Travelers

As a fully vaccinated visitor, you’ll need to register on Thailand Pass and upload your vaccination certificate, as well as proof of your health insurance.

Getting tested before your flight and after you land is no longer required. Also, bear in mind that children under 18 traveling with fully vaccinated parents/guardians will have to follow the same protocol as their companions.

Unvaccinated Travelers

If you have not been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated while applying for your Thailand Pass, you must upload one of the following:

• A negative PCR test
• A negative Rapid Antigen Test performed by a healthcare professional

In either of these cases, the test must be issued within 72 hours before your flight. Moreover, starting on June 1st, quarantine is no longer mandatory.

Children aged 6-17 who travel with unvaccinated parents must follow the same protocol as their companions. Yet, children under 6 are not required to submit any Covid test results.
